The owners are a doctor with her family, they have a requirement for a balance between common and private living space for each family member. The living room space is formed by a wooden box, maximizing the ability to connect people. We use a wooden platform that hugs the length of the living room. It suits the needs of the homeowner because of the flexibility to convert its purpose. This can be both a safe and spacious place to play for children, a comfortable place for couples to relax, and a place to receive guests and gather crowded friends, which is ideal and comfortable. The bedrooms are guaranteed privacy but still have a connection with the surrounding.

The materials used in the space prioritize less chemicals, optimize nature and promote the spirit of craftsmanship such as painted wood. The special feature of wood is that it helps to relax the heart rate, combined with the large windows to let in natural light, making people more relaxed and improving the quality of life.
